As the Head of Demand Generation, you will develop and execute strategic marketing programs to drive awareness, generate leads, and fuel the sales pipeline. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement innovative demand-generation strategies that result in measurable business growth and revenue.

  • Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content marketing team to develop compelling and relevant content for various stages of the buyer's journey. Ensure the content is optimized for lead generation and conversion, including landing pages, ebooks, whitepapers, blog posts, and webinars.

  • Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from planning and segmentation to content development, execution, and analysis. Monitor campaign performance, identify areas of improvement, and optimize campaigns to maximize lead generation and conversion rates.

  • Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including paid advertising campaigns, social media marketing, SEO/SEM strategies, and website optimization. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing to ensure effective lead generation and engagement.

  • Marketing Analytics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of demand generation programs using analytics tools and reporting. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, lead conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to measure the success of initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing demand generation team. Set clear objectives, and provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members. Foster collaboration with other marketing teams, sales teams, and stakeholders to align efforts and drive collective success.

  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities, improve marketing strategies, and enhance overall demand generation efforts.

REQUIREMENTS OF A head of demand generation:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (X+ years) in content marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of content creators.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content across various formats and channels.

  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, content optimization, and keyword research.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
