We are seeking a proactive Category Sales Analyst to join our client's team. They are an innovative company within the food industry in the midst of some very exciting change with exciting growth plans. A fast growing British company with a great reputation for quality, the business is going from strength to strength as it transforms and broadens its relationship with its customers.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a role for a tenacious self starter who is a passionate foodie with strong Excel skills and ideally with some sales experience.
The role is based in their head office in Watford.
The ideal candidate:
·Should ideally have an understanding of the UK food supplier market or be from an FMCG background.
·Can demonstrate understanding of insight based on analytics to drive decision making and activity.
·Strong knowledge of Excel to advanced level
·Great communication skills
·Be organised, proactive and a self starter with strong attention to detail
·Work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive insight based sales decisions
·Work supporting the sales team attending meetings both with clients and suppliers
·Analyse the data looking at trends and pipeline
·Manage events/product promotions with the sales team
