Our client is one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK , they provide a number of solutions to businesses to keep them connected via messaging and calling solutions.

They are looking to recruiting someone to head up their Corporate Events & Social Media. This role would suit someone with a proven track record in event management within a B2B environment and an interest in Technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversea the planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences and events (globally)
  • Manage the event budget
  • Organise all logistic requirements
  • Create and own the EMEA events strategy
  • Manage relationships with all suppliers, event organisers and internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with the marketing
  • Run and manage social media campaigns
  • Manage corporate communications channels, including content creation, partnerships and influencers, scheduling and posting
  • Create and implement a social media strategy to promote the companies events
  • Ensuring there are regular posts on social media channels promoting the events
  • Manage and oversee 3rd party agencies when planning a global event
  • Work closely with the digital teams to ensure campaigns supporting the event are well planned

Experience and skills required

  • Must have event management experience within a B2B environment
  • Experience generating, implementing and driving social media strategy with proven results
  • Able to travel sometimes overseas
  • Strong project management skills and able to form strong relationships with other stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate end to end ownership of different types of events and sizes
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, creative and someone with an interest in technology
  • Strong creative, written and proofreading skills with rigorous attention to detail and accuracy
  • A 2nd language would be an advantage
