This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a privately owned, award winning travel company in South West London. Working in a dedicated team this role will be reporting in to the Head of Marketing. This is a hands on role so we are looking for an all-rounder marketer, good copywriting skills, some digital knowledge and ideally experience within the travel industry.

The role:-

  • To put together and implement a monthly marketing plan
  • Help manage and build successful relationships with external suppliers such as tourist boards and media agencies
  • With help from the Digital Marketing Executive, improve performance of all online channels, such as PPC, SEO and targeted advertising
  • Manage day-to-day marketing activities and provide the Marketing team with what it needs to deliver to its full potential
  • Report on weekly/monthly KPIs
  • To assist in the writing, design and printing of brochures, the company magazine, newsletters and direct mail letters
  • Help and guide the Marketing Executive to create inspiring blog and social content
  • To attend Trade shows and functions when required.
  • Help out with ad-hoc marketing activities when required including assisting with events
  • Proofread e-newsletters and blog content
  • Together with the rest of the marketing team, come up with new and innovative ways to promote the company
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in marketing and monitor competitor marketing activity
  • Manage the company's Twitter account

Requirements:-

  • At least 5 years' experience working in marketing
  • All-round marketing skills are required, from a sound knowledge of digital marketing to social media, and from website performance to print advertising
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Previous experience of working within the travel industry is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude
  • Experience at working with and briefing agencies and freelancers
