Merchandiser / Merchandise Coordinator

Full time, Permanent hours 9:00-17:30

Salary circa £30,000 pa

The Company

Our client is part of a large organisation creating innovating and creative merchandise, branding and logistics for global leading brands.

The Role

Managing various Merchandising projects spanning UK and globally including:

  • Sourcing merchandise globally with procurement team ensuring SKU / margin targets are met
  • Order and maintain product samples for field sales team
  • Order photos / product images (creatives) to be used online and in catalogues
  • Keep product details and creatives online and in catalogue updated with changes
  • Manage requests for creatives in-house and PO information
  • Keep pricing spreadsheets updated and product pricing documents / PPT as requested
  • Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss client merchandising projects
  • Input new ideas and problem solving
  • Attend supplier shows and client meetings with teams as required

Skills & Experience

  • Prior B2B experience would be ideal
  • Previous experience working in merchandising or sourcing, buying, brand, product
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and suppliers
  • Ability to understand and analyse pricing, costs, SKU data, budgets and commercial data and update SAP, Excel, Word and PPT
  • Confident discussing what data is telling us (for example: loss, profit, costs exceeding budget
  • Confident presenting and contributing in meetings with procurement, sales, marketing, web and senior teams
  • Additional languages would be advantage as you will be dealing with European suppliers and partners, specifically German, French, Spanish or Italian
