Inbound Telesales Account Manager
Base salary £22,000 pa + commission - realistic opportunity to earn circa £35,000 pa
Full-time / permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic Telesales Account Manager to join a friendly and established food provider. A fast growing British company with a great reputation for quality food and high standards, the business is going from strength to strength as it transforms and broadens its relationship with its customers. This is a therefore a pivotal role to ensure customer satisfaction when ordering.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who is confident building ongoing relationships with clients via inbound sales orders and up-selling on those orders where possible. You will also proactively keep customers updated with new promotions and new products.

If you are a bit of a foodie that would be a real advantage as you can talk to customers in-depth about their food and ingredient requirements (although this is not essential!).

The role is based from a lovely office in Watford with free parking.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous sales, telesales, account management or telemarketing experience
  • Food industry knowledge an advantage but not essential
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications - Excel preferred
  • Superb communication and customer relationship building skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote food and ingredient products to customer base
  • Solicit orders for goods and services over the telephone
  • Explain the product or promotion to customers
  • Provide pricing details and receive orders
  • Handle customer questions & input details into computer system
  • Confirm orders placed with field sales representatives
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Conduct customer and marketing surveys
  • Build strong ongoing relationship with existing and new customers

The successful candidate will receive an excellent basic salary and attractive commission structure rewarding performance.
