SALARY: £80,000 - £150,000 P.A. + PACKAGE
My client is an established global software company looking for a Director of Communications, to lead the business through an exciting period of change and rebranding.
The Director of Communications will be responsible for redefining the perception of the brand, telling the story to both internal and external audiences.
Reporting into the C suite, working with a small team and strong global network of agencies you will be given the opportunity to ‘shake up and change’ the current communications landscape.
The Director of Communication’s responsibilities will include:
Drive cohesion and consistency in messaging and tone of voice across channels including AR, PR, social, content
Craft the narrative and redefining the story globally
Collaborate with other departments and functions including product, sales, brand & design, demand generation teams
Work with customer success to encourage and amplify community advocacy
Shape the responses to industry events and trends,
Build thought leadership programs
Global Agency Management
Direct management of a small team
Budget Management
Work as part of the Senior Leadership team with strategic input to the executive team on a range of industry and public relations topics.
The ideal Director of Communications will have:
Demonstrable and extensive experience within communications in the SAAS, cloud, system integration and IT services industries
Experience of working within communications operating across multi verticals and variety regions
Passionate about technology – more than a job but a deep interest in technology
Driven to try something new, push boundaries to get results.
Fanatical about the power of words and their meaning – use them perhaps in a simple way to get a complex message delivered.
