A brilliant opportunity for a Content Strategy Director position within my client’s global FTSE company.
This role is responsible for the overall Content Strategy – managing a team and working with strategists and analysts from other marketing teams, stakeholders, and other Content teams to design optimal content strategy. This global role is responsible to set the vision, objectives, short and midterm content plans.

Location: flexible – US and can be remote or flexi home/office. UK location would also be considered.
AS CONTENT STRATEGY DIRECTOR YOUR DUTIES WILL include:
Creating comprehensive visibility for the strategy, people, processes, technology and measurement that contribute to improved marketing content lifecycle management.
Directing first-time and ongoing content audits for owned and third-party web sites,, partner portals, digital asset management library and other content repositories
Leading content strategy, advising stakeholders on the optimal bill of materials and rollout strategy to achieve communications goals. Manages editorial calendar, content audits and overall processes.
Establishing clear and well communicated workflows for requesting, creating, editing, approving, publishing, and retiring content.
Working closely with reporting and analytics colleagues to analyze content performance in various channels and provides findings and recommendations to creative teams.
Leading high-performing, engaged content strategy and editorial teams; conducting recruiting, training and development activities.
Helping define the creative expression of brand and product messages, building out useful guides for content creators.
The ideal CONTENT STRATEGY DIRECTOR will have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Formal leadership and global experience
Demonstrable experience working in a collaborative cross-team capacity
B2B content experience, preferably a blend of content writing, strategy, management, and analytics. Specific experience in campaign content strongly preferred.
Understanding of content marketing and production best practices, tools and processes, including buyer personas, content management software, digital analytics and social media tools.
Experience in establishing and managing a digital asset management system
Background in content writing and editing, including a portfolio of published materials.
Experience in enterprise software or manufacturing/engineering sectors desired
