An exciting opportunity to join a leading transportation / logistics service provider as the Director of Service Delivery.
The successful candidate will join the UK leadership team and lead a London based contract team which will be doubling in size in 6 months. Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will lead the contract workforce and a growing P&L currently at £9M.
the responsibilities as a CONTRACT DELIVERY DIRECTOR will include:
Direct responsibility for growing contract soon to double in size
Lead, inspire, and provide guidance to your team across different layers of management
Direct management of Site Operations Manager and indirect teams
Develop profit efficiency strategies
Ensure the contract delivers against KPIs and identify actions required
Develop relationships and processes for improved cross-functional working
Drive positive change across the business working with leadership and C-team
Set targets for Site Operation Manager and contract management team
Foster an open and continuous improvement culture where your team are comfortable reporting issues and there are effective plans in place for escalations.
Identify root causes to escalations and implementing improvements
Full accountability for the contract P&L performance
the ideal CONTRACT DELIVERY DIRECTOR will have:
Demonstrable experience as service delivery lead in a similar industry such as transportation services, logistics, facilities, TFM, with customers wellbeing at the heart of the service.
Board, Director, Senior Leadership team level experience or ready to step up to this level.
Proven record of change management, root cause analysis, and development & implementation of process and people improvements.
Previous experience mobilising a contract or leading a £multi-million contract through double growth expansion.
Skills in smart prioritisation and leading large-scale change and development plans.
Strong leadership; you enjoy leading, inspiring, providing learning, and influencing at all levels.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will enjoy simplifying processes, problem solving, and creating a happy workforce.
Ability to foster positive relationships with the contract client and demonstrate strategic decision making
