Our client is a global, gamified learning platform revolutionising how people engage with cybersecurity education. They're reaching millions of users worldwide through interactive, hands-on experiences that make complex technical concepts accessible and engaging. They're now seeking a talented designer with exceptional illustration capabilities to define and lead their visual storytelling as they continue their rapid growth trajectory.

Location: Remote (minimum 4-hour overlap with UK working hours required)

THE CREATIVE DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Develop distinctive, original digital illustrations, including character designs, environmental scenes, and visual assets for use across marketing campaigns, educational materials, social channels, and platform features

  • Take complete ownership of the visual illustration direction, establishing and maintaining a unified artistic approach that resonates with their global learner community

  • Partner closely with design, marketing, and product colleagues to translate conceptual briefs into compelling visual narratives that simplify technical subject matter

  • Produce publication-ready assets in multiple file formats optimised for different channels and applications, maintaining organised libraries and documentation

  • Work autonomously to schedule, prioritise and deliver creative projects to deadline with minimal oversight, while proactively suggesting improvements and innovative approaches


THE IDEAL CREATIVE DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR WILL HAVE:

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, illustration or comparable creative disciplines with a portfolio demonstrating strong hand-drawn digital work and character development

  • Expert-level skills in Figma and vector-based design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, with working knowledge of 3D or isometric illustration techniques

  • Proven ability to self-manage workload effectively, communicate progress clearly, and operate independently in remote team environments

  • Meticulous eye for detail with dedication to producing refined, professional-standard visuals that maintain consistency across diverse applications

  • Adaptability to work within dynamic timelines and shifting priorities typical of fast-growing technology companies
