LOCATION: HOMEBASED / CRAWLEY, WEST SUSSEX
TYPE: CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS, FULL TIME
SALARY: NEGOTIABLE + BONUS
Our client produces and markets consumer products in the Beauty, Health, and Wellness categories. Their products are sold in leading retailers, supermarkets, and online. They now have a great opportunity for a Digitally focused Brand Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team on a 12-14 month fixed term contract basis with potential the role may turn permanent as the team continues to grow.
Within this role, you will be part of the marketing team responsible for growing a variety of brand portfolios by developing strong consumer focused strategies and plans, and delivering premium, high quality and unique products.
Main responsibilities:
Manage brand marketing activities across a variety of portfolios including beauty and healthcare with a focus on digital marketing including; Web, Social, Advertising, and Media.
Work with the Senior team members to develop and implement brand strategies
Managing and updating brand budgets and P&L
Attend retailer meetings to present brand strategy plans with the team
Communicate brand plans progress to time and budget to internal and external stakeholders
Manage the corporate relationship with key agency partners, especially media and creative agencies, to maximise plans and value for money
Support the campaign planning, development and evaluation across all elements of the marketing mix (ATL, BTL)
Work with Assistant Brand Managers and cross-functional team members
Work with NPD (brand extensions) to launch on time and to meet financial objectives
Key skills requirements:
Prior experience in consumer product brand management
Previous success in delivering brand strategy and plans
Hands-on digital brand marketing skills
Prior experience working with media and creative agencies
A high degree of commercial awareness
Strong analytical and influencing skills
The ability to form relationships, working with colleagues across multiple departments
Experience working in the UK retail market, ideally with retailer strategy meeting experience
Full understanding of the UK media landscape and extensive experience of creating and executing full 360 media and touchpoint campaigns
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
Ability to support the management of budgets and P&L
Strong communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Able to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines
Can do positive attitude, with the ability to influence and work in a collaborative way and identify creative solutions to challenges
Experience in brand licensing desirable not essential
Flexible to work from home combined with 2-3 days a week on average based in Crawley (once safe and agreed)
