SALARY: £45,000 - £50,000 P.A.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our Third Sector client, delivering a range of exciting projects to build awareness and enhance their reputation supporting thousands of individuals and making a difference.

The role will be responsible for creating engaging marketing and communications plans for projects and events both within B2B and B2C channels.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable creating engaging content and managing marketing plans and project managing events as well as managing media relationships. AS THE marketing & Communications MANAGER, YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Write creative and engaging content across multiple channels

  • Identify, research and write suitable case studies and devise creative methods for delivery, including film and video

  • Develop communication toolkits for supporters for internal communication

  • Ensure the website has accurate and up-to-date content at all times

  • Develop creative cross-channel marketing plans for industry events

  • End to end project management for each marketing plan which includes timeline, engagement of key stakeholders and post-event marketing analysis

  • Manage media relationships to provide above and below the line Programme content

  • Manage the brand identity to ensure consistency across a range of communication channels

  • Create assets for print and digital that are on brand and engaging

THE IDEAL MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 5 years communications experience preferably for an FMCG brand or in a Marketing / PR Agency

  • Demonstrable 3 years plus experience within a Marcoms role

  • Proven track record in creating engaging written content across print, digital and social channels

  • Creative skills in social media assets and content using software such as Canva, InDesign or Photoshop

  • Experience working with third party design agencies, creating briefs and end-to-end project management

  • Proficient project management skills, across multiple projects, to a high quality

  • Email marketing with Mailchimp or DotDigital being an advantage

  • Confident updating websites, with experience in CMS systems and WordPress
