The successful Marketing Manager will enjoy combining office-based days at their Covid safe office and innovation site in Crawley with some home working. The successful Marketing Manager will also enjoy being a key member of the team representing the company and it’s products at global exhibitions (once safe to travel) and will thrive in a role where you get the opportunity to travel for events including the USA and Europe throughout the year.
Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:
Supporting the Marketing & Sales Director to develop marketing and communication plans in-line with sales strategy and product lifecycle.
Support with managing a small marketing team of four people and oversee execution of marketing tasks ranging from Marketing communications, PR, Content, Copywriting, Events, and digital marketing.
Work closely with R&D and Product teams executing marketing for new product launches (NPD & Product Marketing).
Provide monthly reports on market updates and NPD projects.
Support with Customer, Market, and Product research creating relevant case studies and news stories with the support of Communications team.
Monitor and report on competitors’ product activities.
Support with exhibition marketing plans, materials and attend exhibitions globally with the team as required meeting with healthcare providers and professionals.
Support the Marketing & Sales Director in managing the marketing budget.
Build relationships through engaging marketing and communications with industry influencers, healthcare providers, customers and distributors on a global scale.
The ideal Marketing Manager will have:
Demonstrable product focused marketing experience
Experience working in healthcare or manufacturing product focused organisation
Ability to oversee small marketing team with support from Marketing & Sales Director
Generalist marketing skills spanning: Product Marketing, New product development & launch marketing, copywriting, content production (online & offline), digital marketing (Social, Email, Web, SEO), and event marketing & management.
Able to switch between strategy and sitting with the team executing tasks.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Thrives in a non-corporate, friendly environment whilst driving constant marketing improvements.
Flexible to be office based in Crawley and attend oversees exhibitions throughout the year.
Degree educated in a Marketing or related field preferred.
