Our client is a well respected, fast growing B2B services company, providing specialist technical advice within the professional services markets.  They currently have a brilliant team based across the UK with a Head Office in Redhill, Surrey.

The Marketing Manager position reports into the Marketing Director with line reports and is a fantastic opportunity to help build the marketing function, drive the strategy and make an impact. This is a hands-on role and you will be working across all UK marketing, PR and communications strategies as well as overall branding and image control in accordance with guidelines. Some travel to events will be required.

Responsibilities as Marketing Manager will include:

  • Develop short and medium terms marketing plan that will help underpin the company’s ambitious growth targets

  • Working with the leadership team to quickly develop high impact content driven marketing campaigns

  • Responsible for producing content for the Company’s online presence, editorial design and internal/external publications and press releases.

  • Undertake analysis and presentation of competitor intelligence and market insights.

  • To manage marketing events and external conferences/events and attend as and when required.

  • Working with subject matter experts to produce content that explains complex technical stories in an understandable relatable way.

  • Manage the implementation of a new CRM system within the company

  • Implement and monitor KPI’s to measure success and commercial outcome for marketing activities

Essential Skills for the Ideal Marketing Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Sciences or Marketing related

  • Demonstrable experience in running a marketing function including PR and digital marketing and integration with sales / business development and other business functions.

  • Demonstrable experience of line management or mentoring in a marketing role

  • Solid background of working in a B2B environment

  • Ability to manage a budget

  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media and content marketing, CRM system and email automation platforms and use of practical tools

  • Demonstrable digital and social media exposure

  • Ability to demonstrate marketing campaigns and results
