SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 P.A.

Our client is a long-established global manufacturer of healthcare devices improving the lives of customers every day. If you are passionate about joining a friendly, collaborative team in a varied Product & Marketing Manager position then this is the role for you!

With a manufacturing, R&D, Sales, and Marketing operations all onsite in a Covid safe environment, you can expect to play a pivotal role in ongoing business growth reporting to the Directors and C-suite.

The successful Product & Marketing Manager will enjoy combining office days at their Covid safe office and innovation site in Crawley with some home working and flexi working hours including early finishes as agreed.

The successful Product & Marketing Manager will also enjoy leading a small marketing team of 5x including Marketing Comms Execs, Product Marketing Exec, and Sales & Marketing Execs. A key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to represent the company and it’s consumer medical devices at global exhibitions (once safe to travel) and will thrive in a role where you get the opportunity to travel for events including the USA and Europe a few times a year.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCT & MARKETING MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:

Supporting the Marketing & Sales Director to develop product focused marketing, brand, and multi-channel, integrated communication plans in-line with sales strategy and the product lifecycle.
Manage a small product focused marketing team and oversee execution of marketing tasks ranging from Marketing communications, product marketing, brand, content, exhibitions, and digital marketing.
Work closely with R&D and Product teams executing marketing propositions for new product launches.
Lead on marketing strategy for channels including healthcare suppliers (hospitals, CCGs, Clinical Leads) and global distributors.
Support with Customer, Market, and Product research strategy for the creations of case studies and news stories
Monitor and report on market insights.
Support with exhibition marketing plans and attend exhibitions globally with the team as required meeting with healthcare providers and professionals.
Managing the marketing budget.
Drive strategy for engagement with industry influencers, healthcare providers, customers and distributors on a global scale.

the ideal PRODUCT & MARKETING MANAGER will have:

Demonstrable product focused, commercially focused multi-channel marketing / brand marketing experience.
Experience working in medical devices or healthcare products.
Ideally previous experience working for a UK manufacturer with full scope of end to end processes.
Ability to manage a commercial and product focused marketing team with support from the Marketing & Sales Director.
Generalist marketing skills spanning: Product roadmap, Product Marketing, Brand, Communications, Product launch marketing, content, digital and exhibition marketing and management.
Ability to switch between strategy and sitting with the team.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a non-corporate, friendly environment whilst driving constant marketing improvements.
Understanding of the roles of product management, and R&D.
Flexibility to combine home and Crawley office base and attend oversees exhibitions a few times a year (once safe)
Degree educated in a Marketing or related field preferred but not essential.
