LOCATION: HOMEBASED / ROMSEY, KENT

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 P.A. INC BENEFITS
My client is a global manufacturing business with a high profile, complex solutions focused product range. Internal communications is a newly created team, sitting within the central communications function. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Internal Communications Exec to be the main focal point, develop the function and build a strategy for internal audiences. Location: Currently remote within government guidelines but Ideally would be seeking someone to attend office based in their HQ in Hampshire for at least 2 days per week.
Duties Includes
Assisting with the creation, management, and implementation of internal communications strategy
Telling the story to illustrate part of the strategy and to highlight brand essence
Timetabling communications across all channels,
Developing and delivering communications materials that are clear, straightforward and jargon-free
Writing and editing copy, examples include newsletters, content for internal campaigns and updating internal channels
Embedding use of a new communications tools such as Teams/Channels/Yammer
Developing strategies to communicate with both 'offline' workers and online workers
Innovating, challenging and recommending best practice
Crafting messages for internal communications campaigns (such as safety week and health & well-being week)
Producing supporting toolkits to enable the delivery of effective messages to the target audience.
Develop and implement effective measurement and evaluation tools for Continuous improvement
Writing and editing copy, examples include newsletters, content for our internal campaigns and updating internal channels
Utilising research and external benchmarking information
Working with stakeholders, suppliers and teams collaborating on multidiscipline projects.
Ideal Person
Demonstrable experience within a internal communications team for a large organisation
A passion to continuously learn and improve.
Experience of developing best practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An eye for a story and the ability to make the complex simple
Ability to juggle projects and be a hands on doer.
Enjoys working autonomously but can also work with a variety of stakeholders.
