My client is a scale up business with a unique proposition within machine learning, targeting the retail banking sector. They are looking for a proven hands-on Marketer from a SAAS or financial services background to set up this divisional marketing function from a greenfield perspective. Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, the ideal person will be excited about embarking on this new adventure, with a strong desire to get to the heart of the customer and build out a Marketing strategy to deliver the growth required.
Location: London Office – flexible approach but looking for some attendance in the office each week. They are looking to build a vibrant and collaborative team and feel it is important to meet in person when needed.
Marketing Manager Duties:
Develop and execute a robust and comprehensive a Marketing strategy to cost-effectively attract the target audience (this includes, but is not limited to, identifying the right marketing channels, mix, budget allocation; segmenting personas; track spend effectiveness and ROI)
Develop a strategy and product proposition to leverage competitive positioning
Create content that will address the needs of the market and build heightened awareness of the brand through variety of channels.
Working on a tight budget, monitoring KPIs and ROI of each channel, constantly looking for ways to optimise conversion and budget allocation
Enable sales team’s success through the provision of toolkits, templates, and campaign timelines to ensure alignment between outbound sales and marketing efforts.
Manage the entire B2B growth funnel, from acquisition through to retention and maximising customer LTV.
Forecast, measure, analyse and report programme results to drive continuous improvementand seek to generate new best practices through experimental efforts.
The Marketing Manager ideal person
Demonstrable experience within a high growth tech business ideally with knowledge of banking / financial services vertical
Big Picture marketer with a good all-round experience with the ultimate focus on commercial outcome and growth.
Drive, determination, and passion to achieve goals, no matter what surprises get thrown at you.
Ability to work in smaller start up business
Ability to be hands on when needed.
