UX/UI and Website Designer
SECTOR: media
TYPE: contract
LOCATION: remote
SALARY: £300–£350 per day
We’re partnering with a global, well-established B2B industrial group to find a contract Digital Web & UX/UI Specialist. You’ll join an international marketing team and work with colleagues across several regions to improve how the website looks, works and converts.
This role brings web build, UX/UI and marketing technology together, so you’ll shape how the whole web estate works rather than just one piece of it.
Day Rate £300–£350 per day
Working Pattern It’s an initial 12-month contract, typically three days a week. Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UK.
Location: Remote-first with occasional team get-togethers, and with a clear path to a permanent role.
What you’ll be doing
Web build (main priority)
Designing and building full web pages in an enterprise, component-led CMS, working within existing templates and modules
Getting the technical detail right on every page: structure, heading hierarchy, on-page SEO and accessibility
Supporting international and multilingual content with marketing colleagues in several countries
UX/UI and Figma
Mapping every available CMS component into a Figma board, so the team can see exactly what they have to work with
Creating a “digital twin” reference build in the CMS that shows what can be built and how
Shaping user journeys across the site, from lead engagement and form structure through to handoff into lead management
Marketing automation
Building email templates in Marketo, including localised versions
Supporting automated workflows alongside the in-house Marketo expert
What you’ll bring
Hands-on experience building pages in an enterprise CMS such as CoreMedia, AEM, Sitecore or Optimizely/Episerver
A background in structured, component-led environments (templates, modules and design systems) rather than custom builds from scratch
Strong Figma skills, ideally including component libraries or design systems
Experience improving journeys, forms and conversion paths on B2B websites
Experience with Marketo or a similar platform such as HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot, Dynamics or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (full Marketo training is available)
Multilingual or international website experience, which is a strong plus
A self-starting, hands-on approach. This is an individual contributor role with no team management
Why this role?
Real ownership: the component library and reference build you create will become the foundation the wider team relies on
Flexible, remote-first working within an international team
Training and support from an in-house Marketo expert
The chance to move into a permanent position after the initial contract
