Their scalable, integrated solution enables legal departments to easily collect, process, and review enterprise data that is relevant or potentially relevant to legal matters. They bring artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics to the practice of law to let lawyers spend their time doing what matters most: securing justice for their clients and winning the most important disputes in the world.

THE SCOPE

Armstrong Lloyd started working with DISCO after they had been let down by a number of other recruitment agencies in the search for a Product Marketing Manager. They reached out to us initially searching for a recruitment partner who understood that generalist 360 marketing candidates did not fit the bill for a Product Marketing position and knew the technology industry. International Marketing Director Rebecca Roome who led the hiring commented, “From our initial briefing call it felt like I was talking to a marketing colleague – they spoke my language!”

From there, we went on to partner with DISCO to appoint Event and Content Marketing positions.

RECRUITMENT SOLUTION

When working with a software business to build a team, we make it a priority to understand not only the roles required and team structure, but the organisational culture of the business. This helps us when reaching out to our extensive network of software marketers so that we can headhunt and present candidates that we are confident will fit into the wider team and align with the values of the company.

As Rebecca says, “They started with a strong brief, really getting to understand the requirements of the role and the organisation and immediately knew exactly where to start – in fact, they already had a couple of people in mind!”

A transparent and well-managed process is key in any recruitment project. In helping to build the team, we have leveraged our network of both active and passive candidates within software and specifically LegalTech who had the right mix of background and skill sets.

We pride ourselves on our in-depth interviewing of candidates. Eeach one was put through a 30-minute screening prior to being presented to DISCO as a shortlist. This attention to detail helped DISCO’s decision-making, as Rebecca commented, “They gave great support on the candidate evaluation part of the process, so it made it easy to compare individuals based on their actual’s skills rather than just their pure CV and the interview process.“
