  • Digital Advertising: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing.   • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): By collaborating with the design and development teams, drive conversion rate optimisation initiatives. Analyze user experience, conduct A/B testing, and implement strategies to improve website conversion rates and user engagement.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on campaign performance, customer behavior, and other relevant metrics. Provide regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and drive business growth continuously.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the performance marketing budget. Monitor spending, evaluate cost-effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for budget allocation across channels and campaigns.

  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor strategies. Conduct research and analysis to identify new opportunities, target audiences, and areas for growth. Stay up-to-date with the latest performance marketing trends and best practices.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, analytics, and creative, to align strategies, share insights, and drive collaboration. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and integration of performance marketing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS OF A head of performance marketing:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven experience as a Performance Marketing Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of driving measurable results.

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, display advertising, affiliate marketing, etc.

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and marketing automation platforms.

  • Expertise in conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics, such as cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rates, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
