LOCATION: HOMEBASED / LONDON

TYPE: PERMANENT / FULL TIME

SALARY: £40,000 - £55,000 P.A.


My client is a consultancy within the built environment industry and has experienced rapid growth and are extremely fast paced. We are looking for an Account Director to join their friendly team and grow with the company. This role will be a key senior leadership role, helping to drive growth and success, strategic engagement with existing and new clients and managing team project delivery.

The ideal candidate will understand the built environment industry and large infrastructure projects. In particular will have an understanding of DCO's and be able to juggle multiple projects, be an exemplar communicator, creative and strategist.

AS ACCOUNT DIRECTOR YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Act as a strategic communications consultant for some of the biggest infrastructure and major projects our client manages

  • Manage multiple campaigns from initiation through to planning and construction, ensuring that all work is innovative, produced to the highest possible standard and outcome-focused to help clients achieve their goals

  • Devise and deliver pre-application consultation

  • Devise and lead the delivery of impactful communication strategies which are outcome-driven including the use of stakeholder modelling, a range of relevant channels and tools, and evaluation

  • Provide trusted strategic advice that protects and enhances clients' reputations including message development, language and tone of voice

  • Devise and lead the delivery of media management strategies including issues management and journalist relationships

The ideal ACCOUNT DIRECTOR will have:

  • Demonstrable experience managing clients and large projects with knowledge of construction/infrastructure industry

  • Demonstrable experience as a trusted advisor and influencer with clients

  • Demonstrable experience building strategy with senior level involvement across projects

  • Innovative thinker with an ability to offer fresh ideas for clients

  • Manage new contracts and renewals, manage financial negotiations
