SALARY: £80,000 - £100,000 P.A.

The Marketing and Communications Director is a newly created role within our client's company and is a fantastic opportunity to build the marketing function, drive the strategy and make an impact. This is a hands-on role and you will be fully accountable for all UK marketing, PR and communications strategies as well as overall branding and image control in accordance with guidelines.

the responsibilities as a MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR will include:

  • Develop short and medium terms marketing plan that will help underpin the company's ambitious growth targets

  • Working with the leadership team to quickly develop high impact content driven marketing campaigns

  • Responsible for producing content for the Company's online presence, editorial design and internal/external publications and press releases.

  • Working with subject matter experts to produce content that explains complex technical stories in an understandable relatable way.

  • Overhaul and improve the website and ensure content offers best practice SEO

  • Implement and monitor KPI's to measure success and commercial outcome for marketing activities

the ideal MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR will have:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications or related field

  • Significant proven experience in running a marketing function including PR and digital marketing and integration with sales / business development and other business functions.

  • Experience at head-of/senior management within a commercially driven high growth environment

  • Solid background of working in a B2B environment

  • Ability to manage a budget

  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media and content marketing, CRM system and email automation platforms and use of practical tools

  • Demonstrable digital and social media exposure

  • Ability to demonstrate marketing campaigns and results
