SALARY: £75,000 - £90,000 P.A.


My client is a global B2B business services proposition who are about to rebrand and are looking for a new Marketing Director to transform their marketing function and set the business up for growth. Sitting within the Senior leadership with full budget control and scope to build a team and drive forward changes that are required. The ideal person will be a experienced Marketer looking to join a business they can make an impact and bring about the change needed to drive future growth.

Location: Based in Esher and looking for presence in the office ideally 3 days per week

The Marketing Director Duties include:

  • Oversee the direction and scope marketing department

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness

  • Develop a yearly budget for the marketing team, plan and manage resource, control budgets, and allocate resources amongst projects

  • Monitor progress and evaluate performance, reporting back to the management team

  • Undertake research on demand for products and services as well as competitor research Foster good relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams to leverage business updates within marketing activities

  • Support sales and lead generation efforts. Work with the sales department to develop strategies to maximise our market share

  • Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing efforts

  • Organise company conferences, trade shows, and major events

  • Manage the company’s website

The Ideal Marketing Director will have:

  • B2B marketing experience, ideally within a service driven business focused on working with brokers or intermediaries (a must have)

  • Ability to influence and bring about change at the leadership level

  • Experience or understanding of bids and tenders

  • A background as a strong all rounder with experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

  • A proactive approach with positive ‘can-do’ attitude

  • An eye for quality and close attention to detail

  • Ability to deliver to deadlines and excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to plan and manage budget
