LOCATION: HOMEBASED / TUNBRIDGE WELLS, KENT

TYPE: PERMANENT / FULL TIME

SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 P.A.


Our client is a dynamic consumer goods business with well-known products in the beauty, electronics, and healthcare space. They sell products via retailers and online.

Due to ongoing growth and new product development, we have an exciting opening for a new Product Manager to join the beauty product team. You will be playing a pivotal role in launching new products in the beauty categories in the UK followed by wider Europe and eventually global roll-out.

They offer remote working with occasional office base to physically view samples and products although this maybe open to a fully remote position therefore if you have the desired skill and experience, please apply. You may also be asked to join the team in travelling to China to meet with manufacturers and teams in the future once safe.

As Product Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and managing new product category plans and roadmap bringing beauty products to market for UK / EMEA

  • Collaborate with manufacturers in China, Designers in Europe, and trade marketing teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Devising 3 year category strategy with the commercial team

  • Full product lifecycle management cradle to grave

  • Supporting teams with product pricing, packaging design, POS and promotion tasks

  • Supporting sales and trade marketing with product related information and materials as required

  • Working with innovation teams to identify new opportunities for the product category

  • Analysing consumer insights for future product development in this beauty product category

  • Order and review product samples

The ideal Product Manager will have:

  • Demonstrable Product Marketing background in consumer goods, ideally beauty or electronics

  • Analytical and data driven, you feel comfortable working with product, sales, marketing, digital, ecommerce, innovation, design and manufacturing teams and understand the end to end product roadmap and cycle.

  • Previous experience managing new product development and launches with consumer goods

  • Excellent English verbal and written

  • Experience working with global stakeholders

  • Ideally flexible for occasional office base days in Kent though not 100% essential
