Are you currently in a Communications Manager position looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience within a large matrix organisation within the B2B tech/software space? Then this Strategic Communications Manager position could be the role for you. This is a leading role within my client’s communications team and an excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident Communications Practitioner to support a business unit communicate both internally and externally. This is initially a 12 month FTC, but could potentially convert to permanent. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.
The Role:
- To implement strategic external and internal comms plans covering change management, media and PR activities as the Strategic Communications Manager 
- Provide a consistent message to all stakeholders aligned to the corporate strategy. 
- Increase brand awareness with global/multiple stakeholders, focusing on our business growth areas and where attracting talent is a challenge. 
- Utilise multiple channels relevant to audience and message for maximize reach. 
- Attend and be a proactive member of function meetings, leadership forums & workshops where required. 
- Work closely with key stakeholders in generating content and messages that support their business objectives. 
Skills/Requirements for the Strategic Communications Manager:
- A minimum of 6 years demonstrable communications experience 
- Experience in Change Communications with an understanding of change methods and principles 
- Sound knowledge of industry leading best practice 
- Strong experience working within a technology sector and passion for technology 
- Understanding of complex matrix organisations and the required response from communications to work across locations and diverse audience groups 
- An ability to create new ideas and drive change through new approaches. 
- Experience of writing for different channels, content creation and editing
