Head of Product marketing: Job Summary:

As the Head of Product Marketing, you will lead and manage all aspects of product marketing within our organization. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive the success of our products in the market. Your primary objective will be to create and implement effective marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and drive customer adoption and revenue growth.

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and resources to sell our products effectively. Develop sales collateral, presentations, and competitive analysis materials to support the sales process.

  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning. Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and messaging to inform our product marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Product Messaging and Content Creation: Develop compelling product messaging and create high-quality marketing content, including product videos, case studies, whitepapers, and sales presentations. Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all marketing channels.

  • Marketing Campaigns and Demand Generation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and generate leads. Leverage various marketing channels to promote our products effectively, including digital marketing, social media, events, and content marketing.

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, customer feedback, and market trends. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the impact of product marketing efforts.

REQUIREMENTS OF A head of product marketing:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven experience in product marketing roles, preferably in the technology/software industry.

  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles and strategies.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
