SECTOR: CONSULTANCY
LOCATION: HOMEBASED / LONDON
TYPE: PERMANENT / FULL TIME
SALARY: £60,000 - £75,000 P.A.
My client is a consultancy within the built environment industry and has experienced rapid growth and are extremely fast paced.
They are looking for an Account Director to join their friendly team and grow with the company. This role will be a key senior leadership role, helping to drive growth and success, strategic engagement with existing and new clients and managing team project delivery.
The ideal candidate will understand the built environment industry/contractors/construction and be able to juggle multiple projects, be an exemplary communicator, creative and strategist.
The Account Director’s responsibilities will include:
Help to co-create, develop and implement the annual business plan
Develop a thorough understanding of the forecast and the financial drivers that underpin the performance and effectively manage the forecast
Be accountable for the realisation of new business targets in line with the plan
Be accountable for delivering successful marketing activity in line with the plan
Be an entrepreneur in building relationships with new clients
Look for continual added value to secure organic growth with existing clients
Take a position of accountability with new business tenders and pitches
Manage new contracts and renewals, manage financial negotiations
Liaise with senior clients on a day-to-day basis, key contact for performance issues
Help to lead and motivate the team and deputise whenever needed
The ideal Account Director will have:
Demonstrable experience managing clients and large projects with knowledge of construction/built environment industry
Demonstrable experience as a trusted advisor and influencer with clients
Demonstrable experience building strategy with senior level involvement across projects
Innovative thinker with an ability to offer fresh ideas for clients
Demonstrable experience managing and mentoring a team enabling them to grow and develop
