My client is urgently looking for a PR Executive to join their fast paced team within a FTSE company. This is an interesting and varied role which requires both reactive and proactive campaigns. Location is flexible, regular visit to Bristol office required.
The Senior Media & PR Executive’s responsibilies include:
Managing the running of the press office, dealing with all enquiries from national and regional media outlets, providing timely on-brand responses
Developing and nurturing strong working relationships with journalists
Developing and executing a proactive media campaign plan including the production of press releases, blogs and other content
Keeping detailed records of media coverage and press office enquiries
Managing updates to the website and social media accounts, ensuring a regular stream of relevant, current and engaging content
Developing a detailed understanding of our audiences across all channels, and developing content with a specific focus on the needs of these audiences
The ideal Senior Media & PR Executive will have:
Substantial experience of working in a press relations role
Experience as a journalist in your earlier career would be advantageous, though isn't essential
Experience working on crisis communications is preferred
Strong experience of developing proactive strategies for planned press and media communications
The capability to execute strategies by writing and producing quality content in the form of press releases, blogs, Q&As etc
Experience of managing corporate website and social media channel content
