Karen features on the Resilient Recruiter podcast

You probably know me as a recruiter; either as someone who is interviewing you for a job or hiring for your team but I’m also a business owner and have been for 20 years. I’ve set up several businesses, different divisions and an e-commerce start up in my time.

I was delighted to join Mark Whitby on his widely acclaimed podcast the Resilient Recruiter recently, talking about my own trials and tribulations of being a hiring manager for my own team, how I’ve overcome my own career setbacks and how post covid I’ve transformed my business through coaching, the right mindset and sheer determination.

I’m very passionate about marketing and took the lead from my clients, implementing a number of different marketing strategies and programs that have helped to take the business from strength to strength.

In the podcast I chat about the inevitable set backs and knocks along the way, the resilience it takes to achieve your goal and the determination and commitment to never give up!

“I’m going to keep pushing with my business… There’s no silver bullet, there’s no magic recipe, there’s no pill. You just need to keep going and going and going and eventually you get there.”
